I received this complementary product in exchange for my completely honest review. I will never recommend products I don’t truly love and use myself.
There is no denying that sweet treats keep us all sane from time to time.
Unfortunately for some of us, we have to be careful not to over indulge. Whether it’s due to dietary restrictions, health restrictions, or just trying to control calorie intake.
What if we COULD have our cake an eat it too?! I just may have stumbled upon the holy grail of alternative sugars!
MorningPep Xylitol Sweetener is made from 100% natural birch trees and is completely sugar free. There are almost too many positive to list but here are my list of major pro’s:
- Low in calories (only about 10 per teaspoon)
- Zero effective carbs or sugars
- Replaces sugar in a straight 1 to 1 ratio (no confusing conversions)
- Absolutely NO after taste
- Non-GMO and made in the USA
Seriously the BIGGEST pro for me is the taste. It is the ONLY sugar substitute I ave found that doesn’t leave behind a chemical flavor (like splenda) or a minty flavor (like stevia).
I looks like sugar, it tastes like sugar, it behaves like sugar. If it wasn’t for my continued success in my dieting efforts, I probably wouldn’t believe that it isn’t sugar. 😂
Okay, so now that you have all the details, here’s how I actually like to use it.
I drink a ton of coffee, which I’m sure you all know by now. I primarily just drink it black but sometimes I just need a little bit more. I love using this sweetener to make keto friendly iced coffees!
Just use your favorite cold brew, mix in some MorningPep xylitol until its dissolved, and top with a bit of heavy cream!
I only use about a teaspoon of xylitol and a tablespoon of heavy cream. With that it comes to around 110 calories and only 1g of net carbs! Sweet and refreshing doesn’t always have to break your diet!
My next venture will be trying it out in some keto friendly baked goods 🤤 and I will definitely be updating with that info asap!
In the past I have made some keto cheesecake balls, but I used some liquid artificial sweetener drops and they tasted great but the after taste was horribly chemical. I am so excitied to use this xylitol instead because I know they won’t end up inedible.
