Why I’m Looking for a New Diet

What Makes This Diet Different?
My main issue I have had following other plans in the past has been their super restrictive nature. If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I LOVE cooking (and eating!), if you’re new here you’ll find out soon. Ha!
Early on in the book Joel addressed this specific concern of mine saying, “Fact is, most diets are extremely narrow with regard to food choices and variety, and many even limit entire macronutrients altogether over the course of the entire program (think low-carb and low-fat diets). Three months with no carbs? No thanks. Such practices not only are entirely unnecessary, but make for a miserable, unsustainable experience.”
Yessss! This is why I have such a hard time.
Eating in a healthy and sustainable way, without sacrificing my favorite meals, is exactly something that I feel like I can finally stick to and get to where I want to be. I am so excited to get started and I’ll be posting my first update in a week, so be ready for that!
