you guys! Just wanted to say hi and give you an update on what's going on
these days. First off, I am obsessed with The Wreckers "Stand Still,
Look Pretty" album. It represents everything going on in my life
right now and I just can't stop listening to it. You should all check it
out!! On another note, I have been working my butt off trying to get in
shape physically and mentally for Major Movie Star. Looks like I gotta go
join the Army!! Everything in life is an experience and I am really
looking forward to this one!! I love y'all so much and thank you for
letting me into your lives! You inspire me to be the best that I can be!!

IMG Fashion announced the last lineup of designers for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Miami Swim which will include shows by Bella Mar Swim by Jacquelyne Love, Badgley Mischka, Cia.Maritima, Xtra Life LYCRA, DE et DR, True Religion, Red Carter, Ashley Paige, ANK by Mirla Sabino, BECCA, Shay Todd, Rosa Cha, Zimmerman, Parke & Ronen and Jessica Simpson. The companies' 2008 collections will be featured from July 10 to 14. The 15-show MBFW event is entering its third season and has grown to five days and a record of 15 shows. Family Room Entertainment Corporation would like to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Emmett/Furla Films, is scheduled to begin production on the Jessica Simpson star-er, "MAJOR MOVIE STAR," on July 15, 2007 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Steve Miner, who directed the Emmett/Furla Films production, "DAY OF THE DEAD," will direct this picture also. The picture will be co-produced and financed by a third party, Millennium Films. Simpson is launching a new bikini line. The busty pop star/actress will
reportedly debut the swimsuit next month (Jul07) during Mercedes-Benz
Fashion Week in Miami Beach, Florida. A Simpson insider tells American
magazine In Touch Weekly the swimwear line features skimpy designs and
more modest one-piece suits. The singer, who helped design the outfits, is
so invested in the new line she is personally selecting the models who
will show off the stylish suits on the catwalk. The beachwear is the
latest venture for enterprising Simpson, who also boasts a skincare
empire, hair extension project and a shoe and clothing line.

Jessica Simpson has stunned fans by shedding an estimated 25 pounds (11.3 kilograms) in a month. The pop star/actress hired celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak to help her get back in shape. Pasternak put his star client on a strict 1,300-calorie-a-day diet, delivering his own nutritional meals to her doorstep. The trainer's 5-Factor Diet and Fitness plan has also been adopted by Vanessa Williams, Katherine Heigl and Simpson's on-off boyfriend John Mayer. Pasternak admits he's impressed with Simpson's weightloss: "We're making Jessica taut and toned without taking away her femininity."

Casting will host an open casting call for “Major Movie Star” on June
30. The Millennium Films feature comedy will star Jessica Simpson
(“Blonde Ambition”) and begin filming in Shreveport on July 16. The
casting call will be held in Building D of Bossier Parish Community
College between noon and 4 p.m. Extras casting directors are looking for
all types of people, men and women ages 18 to 50. Military personnel and
all ethnicities are encouraged to apply. Those unable to attend the
casting call can register to be an extra for “Major Movie Star” by
logging on to www.gloriosocasting.com.

Singer Jessica Simpson is in the best of shape, and she credits her new body to the stringent training regimen she's getting with the US Marines. The 26-year-old is preparing for her role in her upcoming film 'Major Movie Star', about an actress, who enrols in the Marine Corps to bag a role in a film based on a military theme. The 'Dukes of the Hazzard' star said that the exercise routine is difficult, but she is 'loving it'.
Simpson added that the Marines have been really amazing to her and she is developing a 'buff' body thanks to them. "It's seriously hard work but I'm loving it. The Marines have been amazing to me and I'm getting really buff," the Sun quoted her, as saying. Simpson recently split with musician beau, Jon Mayer.

Miner Directing Simpson's Major Movie Star

Millennium Films has signed Steve Miner (Lake Placid, Halloween H2O) to direct Major Movie Star, starring Jessica Simpson as a Marine Corps enlistee. Variety says shooting starts next month in Louisiana with the film centering on a pampered star who decides to enlist in the Marines to win approval from a producer and a studio who considers her unsuitable for an upcoming military-themed movie. Upon arriving at Camp Pendleton, she realizes she's made a mistake but decides to persist so she won't let her country down. The film been in the works for over five years since Warner Bros acquired April Blair's spec script.

Tensions were so high on Jessica Simpson and John Mayer’s
Memorial Day Weekend vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, that the two
couldn’t stand to sleep next to each other. “Jessica and John were horribly fighting in Mexico,” a source tells
Usmagazine.com. “They were supposed to go out to dinner one night
but stayed in because they were fighting and didn't want to be seen in
public.” The source added: “They didn't even sleep in the same bed for at
least the last night!” The couple were photographed having a Jacuzzi-side fight on May 26 that
left the both of them in tears. Finally, Mayer stormed inside. Simpson,
said an onlooker, "put her head in her hands. She seemed really
sad." Of course, the getaway did have its high points. A fellow vacationer at
the Villas Del Mar hotel spotted the two partaking in water sports the day
after the blow up. The witness tells Usmagazine.com, “John got
off a Jet Ski, and Jess said, ‘Have fun, sweetheart. I love you!”
But the good times weren’t enough to keep the pair from cutting their
vacation short a day early and returning to the United States. And a final blow out over the phone on June 3 likely ended things for

American Idol judge Ryan Seacrest has a lot of jobs. Over the weekend the host had a bit of fun at his own expense and at pop tart Jessica Simpson's as well. That is - if you were one of the many folks that caught the hilarious and highly recommended new romantic comedy 'Knocked Up. His scene-stealing cameo in the film is priceless in a movie filled with laughs. The Associated Press has this recap: Seacrest, playing himself, becomes ticked off on the set when Jessica Simpson throws off his busy schedule by arriving at her leisure for an interview. He angrily suggests that maybe he'll retaliate by asking for her thoughts on an "exit strategy" in the Middle East. For the record, Jess never shows in that scene but does have a cameo later on the red carpet.
