GLAMOUR: What are you working on now?
JS: I have been in the studio, writing and recording an album in Nashville. It's country. I should have done this a long time ago. I fought with my label three years ago about it. This time I said I wouldn't make another album unless it's country. I wrote it with some of the most talented songwriters from there.
GLAMOUR: How do you write?
JS: I cowrite. That's why I lived in Nashville. I think what [the songwriters] liked was that I was open. They thought Jessica Simpson was going to be what they read about in tabloids. That's not me.
GLAMOUR: And you're in love?
JS: I'm in love, yeah. Big time. It's only four months. I can't believe it. It feels like forever. I love this guy. Can you feel it?

She may be quarterback Tony Romo's bad luck charm on the field, but Jessica Simpson credits her athlete beau for helping her reinvent herself after two years of bad movies and bad press. "He made me feel comfortable [being myself] again," Simpson tells Glamour magazine, on newsstands next Tuesday. "This article could come out and Tony and I could be broken up, but he still deserves all the accolades for bringing me back to who I am," Simpson said. The singer spills the intimate details of how the two met, starting with the Dallas Cowboy's television confession that she was his celebrity crush two years ago and how he e-mailed her dad telling him his daughter was "cute." "Then he e-mailed me and we flirted over e-mail and on the phone. We got to know each other by talking, which I think is the best way," Simpson says. She admits she was nervous when they first met in person at a hotel in Dallas. "I had butterflies that you would not imagine. I wanted to puke in the cupholder," Simpson said. On their first dinner date that night, Romo kissed her in the middle of the restaurant. The football player leaned across the table and puckered up, taking Simpson by surprise. "I said, 'Were you just trying to kiss me in front of all these people?'...I was taken aback by someone wanting to kiss me in public. Because normally people are ashamed." Of her past loves, Simpson says that with ex-hubby, Nick Lachey, she felt competition because they were both musicians; and with brainy singer/songwriter John Mayer, she felt like she had to be "more intellectual." Not so with Romo - who seems to fit just right.

It's a lightly carbonated pomegranate drink that's touted as a wave of relaxation. "It just calms you down and takes the edge off," said VIB distributor Blake Andrew. The company says VIB also makes you feel happy and lively. "It'll still keep you in a state of mind where you're going to be able to execute your office duties," said Bobby Carpenter, Cowboys linebacker. Jessica Simpson's beau Tony Romo and his Dallas Cowboys hit the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas for the NFL Draft weekend and Marco Rivera's retirement party, but apparently Romo wasn't expecting his bubbly blonde gal to populate the party too. According to our insider, Simpson surprised the quarterback by flying in on a private jet Friday afternoon. Jessica was quick to drag her football-lovin' beau away to their King penthouse suite where they made "very good use" of the private bowling alley. However, Pop Tarts has been told that the comely couple eventually re-emerged for a dinner with 25-plus football players (and their leading ladies) at the Robert De Niro-owned restaurant Ago, which was followed with some group rounds of blackjack. "Everyone else from the party then went off dancing at Body English [the Hard Rock's club], but Tony and Jessica snuck back up to their penthouse suite," said our spy, adding the two were overheard saying they wanted some "alone time" back in the penthouse. Although our inside sources said that on the surface everything seems very sweet between Simpson and the Cowboys (Jess was even heard talking about the ins and outs of the NFL draft with Tony's teammates), their early night will only add to the guys' frustrations. "The guys do genuinely like Jessica, but sometimes they find the extra media attention and always having her around too much," said another source who was not at this particular event. "Obviously Tony's priorities are different now, and having Jessica always in the picture can be annoying."

The Texas native and her BFF CaCee Cobb spent Friday afternoon hanging in one of their favorite haunts, H. Audrey, a high-end designer boutique and rock-n-roll art gallery. But for Jessica, it’s not about the trendy boutique’s clothes. The pet-loving singer tells, “H. Audrey is dog-friendly! Daisy shops with me and plays with [the owner] Holly’s dog, Alfie. The store has everything from Alexander McQueen to Golden Goose cowboy boots — which are perfect for Nashville. I also love the music gallery upstairs. I bought a Bruce Springsteen pic I love.” On this trip, a casually-clad Simpson stocked up on designer duds and even had time to take some photos with fans. Jessica Simpson was pretty hard to miss Saturday night at Tony Romo's 28th birthday party at the Travis Avenue nightclub Suite. The photos of them sharing blue birthday cake and saliva have traveled around the world on the Internet. But earlier in the day, she was much more subdued as she quietly followed his round at the newly redesigned TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas golf course. The TPC, where this week's EDS Byron Nelson Championship will be played, has been closed since last May for a $10 million redesign by D.A. Weibring and architect Steve Wolfard. On Saturday, the honor of the first round on the new course was given to Tony, a new member at the Sports Club at Four Seasons. He and golfer Trip Kuehne teed off against pros Harrison Frazar and J.J. Henry. Club members were invited to follow along and watch the round. One of the crowd of about 300 was Ms. Simpson. While Tony and his foursome walked the full 18 holes (5 ½ miles), Jessica followed for six holes before retiring to the Four Seasons pool.

night in Dallas – and fed him some cake. The affectionate pair showed up
at Suite, an exclusive nightspot, to celebrate Romo's 28th birthday a few
days early. (His actual birthday is Monday, April 21.) The get-together
included a blue, star-shaped, No. 9 birthday cake – a nod to the Dallas
Cowboys star's jersey number – champagne, and lots of dancing at the
crowded club. At one point in the evening, Simpson got on the mic and sang
"Happy Birthday" to her beau – then they started feeding each
other cake. "She licked cake from his face as everyone cheered them
on. It was quite a spectacle," says one club insider. "But they
looked really happy together. Jessica had blue icing all over her hands
and mouth and Tony was laughing." On Sunday, the inseparable pair
were spotted at Bent Tree Country Club where Romo teed off to play 18
rounds. Simpson watched from the sidelines, riding along in a golf cart.

True, the stars were out in force for the CMT Awards in Nashville, but Jessica Simpson stayed away from the ceremony, spending her night instead at the trendy boutique Hotel Indigo in the city's West End. According to a fellow hotel guest, the singer was dining in the hotel's restaurant (sans beau Tony Romo) at the same time that the awards were being doled out down the street. Still, country music may have been on her mind anyway: Simpson sported a cowboy hat while eating, the hotel guest says.

Especially when we decided to try a classic bait and switch -- to tempt you with something beautiful just to get you to read an important piece of reporting inside. At first, we considered an image of our mascot fishing. But some worried it might not be sexy enough. Then we found the sunset shot of Yvette Mimieux. Plenty sexy, but not that intriguing. If fans were hoping for some sibling rivalry between Jessica Simpson and her newly engaged sister, Ashlee Simpson, they should look to different pair of celebrity sisters. Jessica had nothing but loving things to say to Us Weekly about the engagement of her sister to Fall Out Boy singer Pete Wentz. “My sister is overflowing with joy. Pete is an incredible soul,” Jessica said. “They naturally bring out the best in each other.” Not only are Ashlee and Pete apparently great for one another, but their engagement also elates the former “Newlyweds” star. “I couldn’t be happier,” Jessica added. Now, with “The Love Guru” just two months away, could Mike Myers once again have stars in his eyes? “Yes, she’s in the movie,” Verne Troyer confirmed this week, speaking about a formerly-top-secret appearance by Jessica Simpson. “There are a lot of cameos in this.” Although Myers has done his best to keep the “Guru” cameos secret, it sounds like Pitka will be seen helping at least one famous person to get her romantic life in order. “When she needs help she comes to the love guru, Mike,” revealed Troyer, who plays a diminutive, mean-spirited hockey coach in the flick. “I don’t want to tell you every one of [the cameos], but you’re going to be surprised.” Although the actor formerly known as “Mini Me” was eager to reunite with Myers, Troyer said that the day of Simpsons’ cameo may have been the most difficult one he’s ever spent on a set. “That one day we had Jessica Simpson there, it was difficult for me and every other guy,” he grinned. “Because Jessica was wearing a nice dress down to her knees but, of course, there’s the cleavage. It was cold and, this is funny, because on-stage when we were filming, because Mike has all this makeup, he has it very very cold. You can see your breath when you breathe – it’s that cold in the studio.” “So, everybody is walking around with big heavy North Face jackets on, trying to stay warm, and Mike’s just sitting there like ‘This feels good’,” Troyer laughed. “So she had to have a jacket on most of the time. is back online! You may have noticed that the
site has been down for the last two days. I has been very upsetting for me
as I couldn't understand what the problem was. Luckily I've found out the
problem was with the domain settings within my web space provider, a very
simple problem, but I'm so happy now that the site is back working
properly! There should be no more problems now and I'm back to updating.

Cozying up to the “With You” singer’s parents, Tony spent some quality time hanging out with Jess, along with Tina and Joe on Saturday night, taking in a movie on Sunset Boulevard. Earlier in the day, the former “Newlyweds” starlet and her mom had their own little shopping excursion in Los Angeles. On Sunday afternoon the happy twosome was spotted at LAX International Airport getting ready to board a departing flight. We’ll keep you updated on the status of these lovebirds.

The upcoming May issue of Esquire magazine has been given a release date of April 15th 2008 and will be off sale on May 13th 2008. I've bought a copy of the issue from EBay as I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get a copy from any store where I live in the UK. Hopefully it won't take to long for me to receive it and I will add scans straight away so keep checking back for those.

The new layout is now all uploaded. It still needs quite a bit of tweaking on some of the content pages but apart from that is should be working fine! If you find anything wrong with any pages please send me a e-mail. Its been a long time coming but I hope you all like it! I will be going through all the sections of the site over the next week, updating and improving bits and pieces so I'll keep you all updated. Enjoy! P.S. I've even sneaked the upcoming Esquire cover on to the new layouts main graphic - look above!

Jessica is going to appear on the cover of the upcoming May issue of Esquire Magazine. This October will mark Esquire's seventy-fifth anniversary and to celebrate they are reinterpreting four iconic covers from our past, each serving as not only an homage but an update. Jessica's cover is inspired by the 1964 Esquire cover featuring Italian actress Virna Lisi who is now 70-years-old.

Pop singer and actress
Jessica Simpson
will launch her debut signature fragrance on August 15, 2008. It is called
Fancy. Love the black-and-white-cinema effect of this image (the ad is not released yet; it is the PR image communication image
for now. This is the initial bait folks). Very iconic. Think Marylin
Monroe in the Misfits, the all-American open road etc. They are
cultivating her America's sweetheart image. The theme of the official ad campaign which will
break out later though is "Pretty in Pink", but just for the
general effect of a "luminous, dewy,
youthful image", not in direct connection to the movie.
The jus is reported to be a "blush champagne".... The singer already showed earlier interest in
fragrances by designing a line of scents that could be literally licked
and tasted, called Dessert. The fragrance development deal was signed with
Parlux and the Camuto Group. Parlux has already tackled the
celebrity-fragrance market with, famously, Maria Sharapova and Paris
Hilton. The Camuto Group specializes in designing global women's lifestyle
brands. Fancy is described, for now, as having a "heart
of gardenias warmed by sensual amber crystals", according to the
press release.
