Fans of Jessica Simpson may not be able to date John Mayer or snag the lead role in "Blonde Ambition," her movie due out this summer, but come fall they can certainly wear her brand's sunglasses, swimwear and lingerie. The pop star/actress, along with her master licensee, the Camuto Group, have signed an array of new licensing agreements, all of which will be ready for fall launches. These categories will add to the Jessica Simpson shoe collection, which has been selling well for slightly over a year at department store and specialty retailers such as Macy's, Nordstrom, Dillard's and Bakers. Drew, who was recently named as the new CoverGirl spokesmodel, poses without make-up for the special issue. She is joined by 10 other stars for the natural photo shoot, including 'Sin City' star Jessica Alba. Jessica, who makes her third appearance on the list, is more comfortable with her body now she is in her 20s. Bluepointe staffers and diners got quite the jolt Monday night when
celebrity couple Jessica Simpson and John Mayer arrived at the posh
Buckhead eatery for a late dinner.
We’re told that the couple slid into a booth (yes, on the same side of
the table) and split a bottle of wine. Chef Doug Turbush prepared sea bass
for the Chicken of the Sea-challenged Simpson, while Mayer had a filet
mignon.
Apparently, Simpson had a fan among the diners. The couple received
complimentary dessert from an anonymous patron.
We’re told that former Buckhead resident Mayer and Simpson later closed
down the restaurant.
On Tuesday, sans Simpson, Mayer was spotted stepping out of a Lincoln Town
Car near Castleberry Point Lofts to shoot a GQ magazine cover featuring
the Atlanta skyline as a backdrop. Dressed in jeans, a green army jacket
and aviator shades, Mayer was approached by Jerry Miller of Miller Gallman
Developers (builders of the lofts), who naturally tried to coax the former
Atlantan back to town.
At press time, there was no word on whether Mayer had yet opted to become
a downtown loft owner in the hipster ‘hood.

Jessica Simpson is set to strut her stuff at the Pure nightclub in Las Vegas on May 4 - as a guest Pussycat Doll! The blonde pop star will be wearing sexy lingerie to host the Pussycat Dolls Lounge second anniversary celebration at the nightclub.
While it's Jessica's first time as a guest Doll, other hott female stars have done it, like Eva Longoria and Denise Richards. A rep for the night club says Jessica "will strut her stuff and let her hair down."

This morning, I was contacted by C.L. Gregory, the director of The Kentucky Fried Horror Show, who seemed quite surprised to hear about Jessica's alleged non-participation and is flatly contradicting the publicist's assertion of no talks. To set the record straight, he's also willing to go on record to give details on the talks his production has apparently had with Simpson. There's no sense in paraphrasing the man -- 'll let you hear it straight from the horse's mouth. Here is what Gregory had to say to me about this whole thing: "So here is EXACTLY where we are at with this. We have had serious contract negotiations with Jessica's people from day one. John Mayer was the hot headliner at the John Labatt Centre last night -- but there was just as much buzz about Jessica Simpson being in the house. That's how celeb coupledom works. It is hottest when there is a sighting of the twosome together, even when it's just for a wave and a smile. It can't hurt having a beautiful romantic partner drop by a tour stop in Canada. Simpson apparently did not see the shows in Toronto or Ottawa. Simpson and Mayer entered the downtown arena to cheers and screams from fans about 30 minutes before he hit the stage. Some of the fans had been waiting since 2:30 p.m. and had seen the couple come and go a few times. Most of their time was spent in a tour bus. Dressed in a daringly low cut black dress and not in the company of John Mayer, Jessica Simpson partied last night hopping from Element to Parc to Winston's. She first arrived at club Element in Hollywood with a guy friend at 10 pm and met her sister Ashlee. Around 11:30 pm she walked through the streets to club Parc almost without being noticed by the crowd. Around 12:00 am Jessica with the same guy friend went to Winston's where they stayed for another two hours. She left Winston's from the back door and walked through the entire alley unnoticed till she reached the valet parking area. Los Angeles, April 17th 2007.

"I saw Jessica Simpson and John Mayer in Santa Barbara on April 16th. They were shopping on State St. I got to meet them and John was extremely nice. He agreed to take a picture with my friend and I along with Jessica. When I asked the guy at the store to take a picture of us, the employee sort of gave my friend and I a dirty look but then john said "No, its totally alright they can take a picture its no problem."
