"I Think I'm in Love with You" is the third and final single from Jessica Simpson's debut album, Sweet Kisses. Released in 2000, the single reached twenty-one on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Simpson's second top-forty hit. The single also reached fifteen in the United Kingdom. The single is best known for its controversial usage of a sample of the song "Jack and Diane". "I Think I'm in Love with You" was written by Dan Shea and Cory Rooney, and produced by Rooney. It features a sample of the classic song "Jack and Diane" written and performed by John Mellencamp.
