The journey of "in this skin" has been such a beautiful and rewarding experience for me as a artist. I feel stronger, more alive and more refreshed after writing and recording my own thoughts. I have searched to find the words that reveal to you my fears from special places within my soul. I thank the Lord every moment possible for all the blessings he has bestowed upon me. Daily I smile and rejoice because have been given the opportunity to share these blessings with people all over the world. To my fans, thank you for inspiring me to find the music that lives inside my heart. Please listen to the words of "In my skin." I wanted to return the favor of inspiration. I can't even remember it being about the beauty of melody. The beauty lies in the heart of the voice. When I sing it is from the depths of my soul. People always ask, "How does that voice some out of you?" I answer, "It's not my voice you're hearing. I am just the instrument being played. The Lord directs my every move. It is him I trust." "I lay on my bed and remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night. Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings. My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me." Psalm 63:6-8. No matter where this record takes my career, the song in my heart stays with my God and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you for my gifts, I am equipped, use me. There are so many precious people in my life it is so hard to collect my thoughts and find a lace to begin. I'll start by thanking the three people who mean the most to me in my life - Dad, Mom and Ashlee. The sacrifices y'all have made for my success leave me with a dept that could never be repair.
